Ibiza Holiday

After a hectic few months I decided I needed a well earned break for some rest, relaxation and to recharge my batteries. Somebody I know suggested Ibiza for a quiet end of season week away. I found a cheap week on the internet stopping in Puerto San Miguelon an AI basis and decided that at the price I had nothing to lose.
We flew from Manchester on a night flight. It was after midnight when we arrived at the hotel so were not able to get any idea of what the resort looked like. The next morning we were woken by the beautiful late October sun streaming into the room. The hotel was built into the side of the bay and our room on the 1st floor looked out over the sea. Although a small resort it had everything you could need, souvenir shops, supermarkets although as we wereAll Inclusive we had no need to pay for any snacks, meals or drinks. There was an english pub which showed the football. We visited the caves which were only a 5 minute walk from the hotel reception and are worth a visit. We also went running and walking and the countryside surrounding the resort is truly breathtaking. The views from the pirate tower at the entrance to the cove are worth the 40 minute walk up to it. San Miquel is not far and the church perched on the hill can be seen from the port.
In all the resort was exactly what was needed and I came home totally refreshed. Don’t visit here if you expect a lively Ibizian resort you associate with clubbing but don’t discount this end of the island if that’s not your bag. The food served in the hotel was varied and edible.
